NIRF – The National Institutional Ranking Framework is a methodology set by the Ministry of Human Resource Development – MHRD, the Government of India to Rank Indian Higher Education Institutions under certain criteria. The Framework was launched by the Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015.
India is the home of some 920 universities and 40,000 higher education colleges. To ensure quality education for all, the government of India imposed ranking system. NIRF is the only authentic ranking system for Indian Higher Education Institutions. International students wish to pursue an academic degree from India may follow the ranking for selecting a top ranked higher education institution in India.
